This diorama scene has been developed as low poly assignment during the “Game Art Production Course” at the Escape Studios.
For this assignment we had to reproduce a real building: I chose to reproduce The Hop Poles pub that was not far away from my house.

The final scene is around 9000 triangles.
The building only uses several 512×512 Diffuse textures (no Specular or Normal Map textures were allowed) and a 512×256 Alpha texture for the Railing.
The Street Elements uses a single 1024×1024 Diffuse texture.

  • Software used: Maya, Photoshop, Marmoset Toolbag.
  • Year: 2010
  • The asset has been modeled and UV mapped in Maya.
  • Photoshop has been used to create all the textures, created only using my personal photo references (taken with my own digital camera).
  • The final scene has been rendered using Marmoset Toolbag.

Below you can find the following content:

  • A Marmoset Viewer scene;
  • Several diffuse textures used in the diorama scene.
